Superior Hiking Trail
During this trip P was 10, and T was 8
I really enjoy the Superior Hiking Trail! I went when I was a teenager with scouts, and I have been with friends three times since I returned to Minnesota after graduating collage. It was so special to share this trail with the kids and Marcus for the first time. Max, our old standard poodle came with on this trip. This would be his 3rd time on the Superior Hiking Trail! He loves it as well. However, at 11.5 years old, it was noticeable he was getting older. Still, he absolutely loved being on the trail.

Day 1 - October 4
This morning we had a 3 hour 45 minute (233 miles) drive with a stop for lunch, a shuttle ride, and a hike to our first campsite, so we wanted to get an early start. We also wanted to leave before our youngest gets on the bus to make bus time goes easier.
